Evaporation

Hi, We are Mario y Lucas.

We have done the experiment of the page 11.

We mixed salt with water and then we heated the solution. We saw how the water evaporated and was separated from the salt by evaporation.

It occurs because the salt is a soluble solid and water evaporate easily.

The salt was behind the water.

Oxidation 6º B

Oxidation 6ºC

 We (Mario and Lucas) have done the experiment of the page 17.

We used an apple,a banana,a strawberry, and an orange.

We put a piece of each fruit in a plate.

We check the appearance of each fruit every 20 minutes.

After two hours, we observed a few changes. The banana began to be affected by oxidation.

We decided to observe the appearance after two days.

Conclusions :

The apple and the banana are oxidised more because they do not have the skin that prevents the electrons from the fruit go to an oxygen atom.

The strawberry has reduced its size (we do not know why).

The orange is not oxidised because it has citric acid that prevents oxidation.

Información reserva de plaza en IES

Fermentation

Convocatoria de reunión.

Os recordamos, por su importancia,  la reunión de mañana martes a las 14.45h. en el teatro.
Se os informará del procedimiento para reservar plaza en los institutos y se os entregará la solicitud que debéis presentar en el colegio.
También vendrán representantes de los IES de la zona que informarán sobre sus institutos.
