MY TURTLE: Chispa



Her scientific name is Chelonoidis chilensis.
It is a vertebrate. It is a reptile. She has lungs. She has a hard shell. She reproduces by eggs. Female turtles dig approximately 10 cm deep holes where they bury the eggs (can be between 4 and 7 eggs).
She is 5 years old and measures more or less 15 cm.
Females have the lower part of the shell which is called the plastron, and the shells of the males have a concave shape.

She usually eats vegetables such as: lettuce, carrots, broccoli, corn, Swiss chard, tomatoes, peas, squash, etc.; Fruit: apples, strawberries, figs, kiwi, raspberries, watermelon, melon, orange, plum, etc.
She primarily consumes water.
She has 4 limbs.
