We (Mario and Lucas) have done the experiment of the page 17.
We used an apple,a banana,a strawberry, and an orange.
We put a piece of each fruit in a plate.
We check the appearance of each fruit every 20 minutes.
After two hours, we observed a few changes. The banana began to be affected by oxidation.
We decided to observe the appearance after two days.
Conclusions :
The apple and the banana are oxidised more because they do not have the skin that prevents the electrons from the fruit go to an oxygen atom.
The strawberry has reduced its size (we do not know why).
The orange is not oxidised because it has citric acid that prevents oxidation.
